Christmas 2007

We started out the year with a late Christmas Celebration at Sandpoint with the entire Siemsen Family. We had a great time with good food, lots of visiting, games, sledding and of course, skiing at Schweitzer Basin. The powder snow was soft and the weather was typically Schweitzer weather - a mix of sun, wind, fog and falling snow.

A highlight was the celebration of Dad's and Mom's 60th Wedding Anniversary. It was special to all be together and celebrate this day with them.

Another highlight was attending the Humanitarian Bowl game in Boise on December 31. Unfortunately our team, Georgia Tech, failed in it's attempt to take the victory from Fresno University, but it was a close and exciting game. Being on the third row and near the 50 yard line in the GT section did add to the excitement. Thanks to Ryan, a GT student, for getting the tickets and to David for the use of his van, portable DVD players and vehicle games! The road trip was an experience!
