One highlight of our time in the Orlando area was experiencing the blast-off of the Atlantis Space Shuttle on February 7 at 2:45pm. It was a beautiful day and a picture perfect blast-off. We were part of the 12,000+ spectators gathered at the Kennedy Space Center for the event.We also walked along Cocoa Beach, toured Universal Studios, saw alligators and enjoyed the warm, sunny weather.
